Hello! Welcome to Dongguan Hongbao Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. Official website!
Due to the potential hazards of gas products, some safety precautions should be taken into account in the use, handling and storage of gases. This article only gives a brief explanation.
After purchasing gas cylinders, users should check the paint color, inspection date, appearance, various labels and their safety devices of the gas cylinders to confirm that the gas contained is correct and the gas cylinders are in safe condition before they can be used.
Gas cylinders should be lightly loaded and unloaded during transportation and loading and unloading. It is forbidden to throw, slide, roll, and violently collide.
Before use, connect a qualified pressure reducing valve to the cylinder and clean the connecting hose as required. Do not use the same pressure relief valve when using different gas cylinders.
When welding, suitable protective measures should be taken for gas and electricity. Do not use damaged equipment such as hoses, cables, and welding torches.
Should not use inert gas (such as nitrogen, carbon monoxide, etc.) in the enclosed space for experimental rate analysis, welding, cryogenic refrigeration, blowing, etc.
In applications where return flow may occur, the device must be equipped with devices to prevent backflow, such as check valves, check valves, and flame arrestors.
All users of acetylene bottles must install a check valve and flame arrester at the outlet of the pressure reducer to prevent backflow and tempering. At the same time, a check valve is installed at the outlet of the oxygen bottle pressure reducer to prevent backflow of acetylene gas.
Prior to the use of acetylene, all pressure reducing valves, torches, hoses, and acetylene bottles were tested using soapy water to prevent the accumulation of acetylene in the air.
The gas in the bottle must not be used up, and no less than 0.05Mpa/liquefied gas cylinder must be left with no less than 0.5% to 1.0% of the specified amount of residual gas.
Gas cylinders in contact with each other in the bottle can cause combustion, explosion, and generation of poisons. They must not be transported by vehicles such as hydrogen and oxygen, acetylene and oxygen cylinders. Acetylene cylinders must not be stored in the same chamber as oxygen cylinders, chlorine cylinders, and flammable items.
The cylinder storage area should be relatively dry and well ventilated. Open flames and other heat sources are strictly prohibited. Smoking is prohibited near combustible bottles or oxygen cylinders. Gas cylinders should not be exposed to sparks, flames, heat, and electrical circuits.
Bottle caps should be worn when the cylinder is not in use.
Do not lie down while storing, transporting and using the Dewar tank. Always keep the Dewar tank upright. Extremely low temperature of liquefied gas can easily cause accidents
